Chevy Avalanche
The hood and fenders featured aggressive folds, in contrast to the soft box of the other GMT800 models.
2003 models featured darker cladding, but GM's new president, Rick Wagoner, demanded deletion of this unpopular trim (as did certain elements of the public). From mid-year, Avalanche could be ordered without the cladding.

Chevy Cobalt
The Cobalt, much like the Cavalier before it, is one of GM's best-selling vehicles. While sales did dip in late 2006, many cite lower gasoline prices as a result, thus allowing consumers to buy SUV's instead of compact cars. Nevertheless, the vehicle remains popular, especially in the Youngstown, Ohio area[citation needed] where the Lordstown plant is located as well as in the Pittsburgh area nearby where the Cobalt (much like the Cavalier before it) is the best-selling vehicle overall in the region.

Isuzu, which helped design the truck, began selling a version of the truck in late 2005 named the i-Series. Chevy Silverado
The Chevrolet Silverado from Chevrolet (along with its GMC counterpart, the GMC Sierra), is the latest line of full-size pickup trucks from General Motors. As of 2006, the Silverado pickup is the second-best selling vehicle in the United States, behind the Ford F-Series pickup truck. Combined with platform-mate GMC Sierra, the platform usually outsells the Ford F-Series, which is actually made of two different platforms for standard and heavy duty models, not counting SUV derivatives such as Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, or Yukon.

Chevy Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe (and similar GMC Yukon) is a full-size SUV from General Motors. Chevrolet and GMC sold two different-sized SUVs under their Blazer/Jimmy model names through the early 1990s.
